UK-based Amelco, one of the world's leading suppliers of sports betting software and trading services, has confirmed that it has secured regulatory approval to sell its online solutions in the US state of Colorado.
The approval of licence to deliver sports betting products and services in Colorado marks a crucial milestone for Amelco, which is headquartered in the capital city Great Britain and eagerly looking to strengthen its foothold in the American athletic gambling market.
Including Colorado, the London listed supplier of sports betting products now holds licenses in four US states. Founded in 2006 and listed on the London Stock Exchange, Amelco has specialization in the development as well as delivery of sportsbook and trading solutions for tier-one operators of sports betting services.
Amelco was formed by a team of financial sector veterans who used their fintech experience to turn the company into a big supplier of sports betting solutions to numerous multi-territory gambling operators, including GVC Holdings and Flutter Entertainment.
After obtaining license from Colorado's gaming regulators, Amelco announced the launch of unique sports betting solutions in the state with The FOX Bet brand, which is a part Ireland-based gambling firm Flutter Entertainment.
Sometime later this month, the company will likely announce the launch of its second sportsbook solution in the state. It is also gearing up for launch the BetWildwood sports betting platform via a newly signed partnership with ISI Race & Sports, which will be the first online solution for Cripple Creek, Colorado-based Wildwood Casino.
It may be noted here that Amelco's online sports betting solutions are already available in three other US states through operators like FOX Bet. When contacted, Amelco's Head of Business Development Mr. Brandon Walker expressed profound delight, saying that the regulatory approval from Colorado's gaming regulators once again showed that the company is capable to meet any compliance requirement. He added that he was very happy to see the rapidly growing list of US states where they would be able to provide their "state-of-the-art" solutions. He further added that his company has multiple major sports betting partnership deals in the pipeline in the US markets.
Colorado is the latest state in the growing list of American provinces that are going live with sports betting. The state granted sports betting a legal status in November last year when voters approved the practice in a statewide referendum.
