Play’n GO’s new video slot ‘Nyjah Huston: Skate for Gold’ boasts multiple unique features

Always eager to boost its online casino games portfolio, Vaxjo, Sweden-headquartered Play’n GO has now announced the launch of its new video slot called “Nyjah Huston: Skate for Gold,” which boasts a number of unique features.

The Swedish developer claims that the new five-reel and ten-payline video slot, which it developed in affiliation with Denmark-based games firm 5th Planet Games, offers unique gaming experience to players, thanks to its theme that revolves around the exploits of US skateboarding megastar Nyjah Huston.

According to the developer, the mobile-friendly new video slot ‘Nyjah Huston: Skate for Gold’ marks the first time when the company has ever joined forces with a professional sportsperson to create a game. It has been specifically designed to capture the conventional roots of skateboarding by duplicating the multihued as well as artistic graffiti style that has been one and the same with the sport for decades.

Launching the game, Play’n GO also claimed that the highly stylized title has a return-to-player ratio of more than 96 per cent. Playing the new game brings the ‘skill and excitement’ of being a winner onto the reels.

Johan Tornqvist, CEO for the Swedish developer, highly praised ‘Nyjah Huston: Skate for Gold,’ saying it offers exciting new features that would serve as its ‘crowning’ achievements.

Explaining the new title’s new features, Tornqvist said that the three-row Nyjah Huston: Skate for Gold game’s Skate and Wildboard windfall innovations challenge gaming enthusiasts to accumulate eponymous emblems, which eventually let them to release vibrant skateboarders that leave trails of wilds in their wakes while they thrust and turn over across the reels.

Announcing the launch of the new game, the top executive added, “This is a theme very rarely explored in the world of slots and it certainly hasn’t been approached from this angle before. But that’s a part of our commitment to bringing new gaming experiences to players and new audiences to slot gaming.”

Nyjah Huston, 25, has won half a dozen gold medals in World Skateboarding Championships. Commonly considered to be the world’s greatest skateboarder, Huston is expected to add one more feather to his cap in Tokyo next year, when he is scheduled to make an appearance in Summer Olympics.

Play’n GO has created and launched a number of high-acclaimed titles in the past couple of years, including Inferno Star, Sabaton, Crystal Sun, Sizzling Spins, Baker’s Treat, Mystery Joker and Big Win Cat.
